Developmental Intervention

Developmental intervention services are provided by a certified teacher that specializes in children ages birth-5. Developmental interventionists have specialized training in all five of the developmental domains (cognitive, social/emotional, communication, adaptive, and motor). The primary role of a developmental interventionist usually is in assisting with social/emotional regulation, play-based learning, and pre-academic concepts. Services are provided through Kentucky's First Steps program for children ages 0-3. We offer services in the home and also in small groups at the PPT clinic. Please feel free to contact us if you feel your child could benefit from developmental intervention services or if you have any further questions. We look forward to assisting you and your child in any way we can. Thanks!
