Occupational Therapy

Partners in Pediatric Therapy offers occupational therapy services by experienced pediatric therapists licensed by the Kentucky Board of Licensure for OT and nationally certified by the National Board for Certification in OT.

Your child’s occupation is to play and learn through meaningful activities.  OT may focus on fine motor skills such as grasping as well as using visual perceptual skills to perform eye hand coordination tasks, i.e. building with blocks, copying pre-writing strokes, using a fork and spoon, etc.

As OT's trained to work with children, we will focus on facilitating function and purposeful engagement in daily routines such as self-help skills including feeding and dressing.

Our OT's are trained in treating Sensory Processing Disorders (SPD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD), Autism and other developmental delays and disabilities. We use play-like activities to help children better process and tolerate the information they get through their senses.

Please contact us if you feel your child may benefit from our services or if you have questions or concerns regarding your child’s development in these areas.

You can also complete our developmental checklist to get a better understanding if your child can benefit from our occupational therapy services.
